It's not Batman and Sons, but...

This happens to me once in awhile. I'm working on a drawing and it's not coming out the way I want it to. So the best thing to do is to step away and go back to it later. For me, I sometimes wait until the next day.

Well, it happened the other day, and I was frustrated because I wanted the drawing done that day. So as I'm grumbling, I grabbed a new sheet of paper and started a new drawing, unrelated to the subject I was working on, but always close to my heart.

So guess who these ladies are?









P.S. The next day, I got the other drawing I was working on, finished. Yay!

P.S.S. If anyone wants icons of the ladies, let me know. Thanks.

I have always found your art to be wonderful but this is over the top for me. I was hoping the 'new' batgirl would be a group of them ala The Joker from the Tangent universe. Babs guiding and Cassy, Bette, and Stephanie as Bat Girl(s).
I'm making this picture my new wallpaper this month.

The only one missing is the new Batwoman, the lesbian in the black and red outfit.

(theyre bringing her back, I think, as Batwoman. I saw her on the cover of a new comic, somewhere.)

She's the main star of Detective Comics now, Greg Rucka writes for it. There's a second feature in each issue about her former partner The Question.

Still don't think that Stephanie is worthy of the cowl. IMO should have left her dead

THIS. Of everyone they could have rezzed why was it HER? I really didn't like her ever and I always felt she did more dragging people down and needing to be saved then anything else.

though I've been told that I am too bitter over her days as Spoiler when I would have rammed a rod through her throat without blinking.

I have to wonder if Black Cat cares to hear this, considering she/he went out of their way to include Stephanie Batgirl in the picture. I dunno, it seems a bit rude for you to insert your personal opinion here when this isn't about you, but about black cat's picture. This just doesn't seem the right place for that.

I'm not insulting black cat's work or anything, Batgirl has always been a cool character, im just not the biggest fan of Stephanie. Still a great picture.

Thank you so much for not being afraid to include StephanieBatgirl in here. I love seeing all four girls here, even the Betty Kane one. This works like an interesting timeline piece, showing each generation's batgirl. Cass Batgirl's cool, btw. Seriously, much love for this picture. :)

One small question though, if you don't mind: why didn't you include Charlotte Gage-Radcliffe (she who later becomes Misfit in the picture?

And I would love icons of Steph (by herself) and Steph and Cass together, please.

I do know that Misfit was Batgirl for awhile but I also didn't include the Huntress, Harley Quinn or even Poison Ivy, each wore the Batgirl costume. I only wanted to focus on the four main women who had or will have a great impact on the role of the character.

I just love the evolution of Batgals. Your work reminds me if the banner at a Superman fan site that has a pic of all the actors who have ever worn the tights with a statment saying "for every generation a Superman" Its a historical perspective and I'm a big history fan for sure. Thanks for the lovey work, I friended you w/out asking, sorry but your work is too awsome to miss.
